Should EXPLORIS all you to make a part with NO PN Code ?

As a follow up the Wish # 6049 - should EXPLORIS allow users to add a part # with a BLANK PN Code ( Sub Line ) ?? As parts are added and sold - the sales by PN Code report is getting larger as many lines are showing sales of these hastily added parts - with no PN code.

Worse --there is NO WAY to get a report of all parts with JUST a BLANK PN Code - call # 1234750 to Claudis.

I'm curious. Are the parts that you are adding without a PN code in a MFG that has multiple PN codes or just a single PN Code?

If the MFG line only has one PN Code then you could Mass Update all of the parts in the MFG to PN Code 0.

Did the JCON allow a part to be added without a Subline? One of the many beauties of adding parts in JCON was that certain fields were defaulted to certain values. Unfortunately Exploris does not have that capability. It would be handy if someone were to come up with a quick reference sheet of the most important fields to be populated and their meanings.

Perhaps one of the former BTMs would have such a sheet? Check with your E-Commerce specialist.

These are lines with multiple sub lines ( PN Codes ) --and we think they are parts sold that were added by the staff when the part # didn't show up - still much confusion on this ---we have LOTS of examples ( store # 8315-16 & 17 ---we see these as we 'match' the line code sales for the 3 stores and have to ADD blank lines in the other sores to match us. ( something else we thing Exploris could do MUCH BETTER
